Hi there ive decided to revive and revamp an old ipod mini, i plan to replace the hard disk for a cf flash memory and paint the body.
ive ended up with 2 pod mini bodys, ive just about finished one and the other im doing in a japanese laquer style. got so many ideas now for custom pods that i think im gonna do a few. anyhoo heres the rustpod so far
its not totaly finished, gotta rough it up a little more, especialy the star and i stil havnt decided weather to do somthing more interesting with the clickwheel, but when im happy with it im gonna coat it with a matt varnish.
B.T.W. the picture on it was done by using printable waterslide paper, you gotta be carefull with it if your usin an inkjet like me cos its not waterproof!! "i just put on some damp tissue so the actual image didnt get wet" then when varnished it should be protected.
